Senior Research Fellow in Biblical Studies
Andrew Mein studied theology at the Universities of Oxford, Edinburgh and then Oxford again, where he completed a D.Phil. on Ezekiel's ethics. He has been on the staff of Westcott House since 1997, and is currently Senior Research Fellow in Biblical Studies. Among his wider professional responsibilities he is also editor of Bloomsbury T&T Clark's Library of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Studies (formerly the Journal for the Study of the OT Supplement Series). His main research interests are in the book of Ezekiel, Old Testament Ethics, and the reception and interpretation of biblical texts in church and society. In addition to this WW1 project, he is currently working on a commentary for the Blackwell series which will examine the way Ezekiel has been used by different communities through the centuries.
Andrew Mein is the author of Ezekiel and the Ethics of Exile (Oxford: OUP, 2001).
